How do we choose the fundraiser beneficiary?
After consulting with the community on our different social media platforms, our team chooses the next beneficiary in accord to the Wave of Change missions and current projects.
How can I participate in the conversations and present my ideas?
Our Discord server is especially crafted for everyone to be able to be an active member of the movement. You will find different forums there to exchange with other members and brainstorm new project ideas. If you are not a Discord user you can equally use our Facebook group to participate in different projects and find like minded people.
How can I be sure that my donation money gets to the beneficiary?
We have made it a corner stone on the project to make our fundraisers transparent and safe for donors.
The donations do not transit through our website, social media platforms or bank accounts (except on the rare occasion where the donor specifically contacts us in the case of an issue with the beneficiaries platform - we assist in getting the donations to the beneficiary and provide proof of payment to the said donor).
We choose our beneficiaries based on the fundraising structure they already have in place, this allows us to provide the certainty of direct donations without involving a third party.
